Mother announces child’s death on Twitter

Mommy blogger, Shellie Ross tweeted that about the circumstances surrounding the death of her two-year-old son Bryson Ross. Bryson, who was two fell into the family pool and drowned. Is Twittering in a time of crisis a misuse of the Internet or a testimony to the support system it can provide? Many are left asking “What kind of Mother tweets during a crisis?” Others argue that Ross was simply reaching out to her community for support.
